He didn’t build it in the end… it was his son Solomon the chosen one for that. Lots of things happen for the actual building of the temple... from doubt to opposition to lack of strength in the people. But God gave them reassurance through Zechariah the prophet (4:6) so they could acknowledge that it wasn’t being done thanks to their own strength but through the power of His Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the manifestation of God’s authority here on earth… it is His way to transform lives, it touches people deeply and it shows in many different ways: 1. Spirit: When The Holy Spirit touches the one of a person, revelation comes and the consequences of sin are shown… what’s affecting his/her family life, businesses, etc. It brings conviction to that person enough to walk away from sin and the old ways. It motivates one’s mind to forsake the old settings and pay attention to what God says while letting Him work His greatness. 2. Soul: The spirit also touches this part of a human being with inner peace, it helps us forgive others and it is the first area being renewed. It is known that poor health is caused many times by bitterness and lack of forgiveness and this has also been found responsible for many incurable diseases. The only one who can touch such a heart is the Holy Spirit of God. 3. Body: When The Holy Spirit touches a body it brings healing! We have witnessed miracles happening today as it did in the past… what it is humanly impossible it is completely possible for Him. Living in The dimension of The Holy Spirit must inspire you to keep this in mind: 1. His touch generates transcendental changes in people: When He manifests in comes revelation, deliverance, transformation and complete healing! Jesus healed many and delivered many… now some settled with that while others moved on until they could become channels of blessing to the lives of others. 2. You must want His power: Not only so it can rest upon you, but so you can be a blessing to many… this implies to be sanctified for Him and hold your grounds, looking for His face every morning with passion and eagerly. He’s got something for you! The question is: How do I get His power to be manifested in my life? search for His presence even to the point of sacrifice. The bible tells us about people who did everything to get the blessing… we have the anemic woman who did everything she physically could to touch Jesus garment and received her miracle… she was thirsty of God! However in other occasions the miracle can come through others… as when the centurion run to find Jesus and asked Him to heal his servant by just saying that he was healed not forcing The Master to go to his house at all… he received his miracle too… his faith was willing to move the power of The Holy Spirit to his very house! 3. Drop off selfishness! There is a difference between receiving something from God and willing yourself to serve Him so that OTHERS can be touched by Him. This is why you need a special touch of God. Many followed Jesus, but –as in Acts 2- when the hundred and twenty met at the house, they… who have decided to sanctify for Jesus, were the ones receiving the manifestations of The Holy Ghost. When you chose to let The Spirit touch you, wonderful things will start taking place. You will ask yourself if you want Him to touch you and flow through you so He can also touch others. He is ready to show Himself to everybody with love. You can be an instrument to help those who suffer because they live without Jesus. Many have said they will commit to The Lord… but their selfish desires won’t let them do it. Many will fall because of the mocking they’re subject to… and it was so back then… people who saw them touched by The Spirit thought they were drunk or something, as they were being baptized directly with the fire of The Holy Spirit. If this is the first time you’ve ever read our meditations and have never invited Jesus into your heart, then, all you have to do is to confess out loud, the following prayer: “Lord Jesus I lay my life in your hands today. Take control of my heart and life and be my Lord and personal savior. Please forgive my sins. I repent of all my failures and wrongs and receive your peace, your love and your forgiveness. I thank you for the precious gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. Amen.” Dear reader, if you just made this prayer, I give you my congratulations. The Lord says you are new and all your past (even right before your payer) is all gone. He has forgiven you from EVERY sin. Now, my advice for you is that every morning as you open your eyes, you go to The Lord in prayer feeling free to call Him Father for He is!. Get a bible and read it.
