Harvest is ready

Scripture : Mathew 9: 35-38

The most important thing for God is not to heal you or grant you everything you wish to have; His priority is to teach you and help you feel what He feels.

It doesn’t make sense for you to tell Him that you love Him if you don’t show love for the souls, or pain to see young people using drugs, or your community falling apart.

Soul harvesting is not about people willing to receive the preaching of the gospel, but rather about the Children of God going to do their job to share about His good news. That you know Jesus today is the result of God’s people praying for you and working for your salvation; it wasn’t an act of magic or a fluke in your life!

A servant of God must pray, preach and heal, and must do it to perfection and to honor The Father. If you have a home prayer group, you can’t just see as a “group” per say… you are to see it as the work of The Lord; these groups are where you are trained to teach multitudes. You are a servant of God, He lifted you up after hearing the prayer of His anointed children, so now you are skilled to be useful in His work.

For you to truly serve God as you must, the following should be in order:

1. You are to be anointed: the anointed ones live to please The Father even in the way they speak, since that is their only passion. They don’t worry about the time they spend in the work of God, they see that time as an investment. An individual who reacts in a “fleshy” manner may feel with such efforts he/she has done enough, but the anointed of God would think totally opposite doing anything The Lord demands from him/her.

An anointed mentor is not checking on what everyone else does or if they do less than him/her, is not going after recognition of any sort and is happy to just preach about The Lord and eager to make Him happy and proud.

Don’t be limited, because your Savior is not limited! Giving up thoughts may come to your mind… phrases like: “you’ve done enough” “you need a break” and their sort may emerge… you are to be deaf to them!

2. Compassion: It isn’t to feel sorry for others or give them a charity so they can feel better… Compassion is to love people and want them to get to know Jesus and the things He has in store for them. We can’t pretend that after we preach to them they will automatically stop harming themselves (stop smoking, drinking, doing drugs, etc.) or stop hurting others (cheating, stealing, conning, etc) and then next day having a different mind setting; but you CAN expect the “suddenly” of God without desperation, for He can very much surprise you.

When sharing to others about Jesus we are not to feel bigger than the rest or under estimate the person or the place you visit when preaching.

3. Passion for The Word: Have you wondered why is it that reading the bible is so difficult? May be it is because many see it as a simple and monotonous rite, when should in fact be seen as the nourishment of the soul and the spirit that echoes in the body.

The Holy Spirit wants to fill you with His word and serve delights to your table every morning. Every time you search in The Bible to feed your spirit, you will enjoy His presence and the words that come out of your mouth will be His.

The passion you’ll feel for the word of God will give you such wisdom that even though sometimes you may not understand what the verses you read, that inner passion will take you to search for the meaning… so pray for God to show you, and remember that He reveals Himself in the intimate moments you have together.

4. Faithfulness to Him: Nothing worse than an unfaithful man!

Remember all He’s done and given to you, and don’t dare changing it for any earthly pleasure or any human affection.

When following an addiction or falling into adultery, fornication or lust you are not being unfaithful to your spouse… but to God and to what He’s entrusted you with.

Don’t just be faithful to your loved ones and to your commitments to make others happy. Do it to honor the name of The Lord, so that when He calls you to His presence, He can tell you: “My beloved son in whom I rejoice”!

If this is the first time you’ve ever read our meditations and have never invited Jesus into your heart, then, all you have to do is to confess out loud, the following prayer: “Lord Jesus I lay my life in your hands today. Take control of my heart and life and be my Lord and personal savior. Please forgive my sins. I repent of all my failures and wrongs and receive your peace, your love and your forgiveness. I thank you for the precious gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. Amen.” Dear reader, if you just made this prayer, I give you my congratulations. The Lord says you are new and all your past (even right before your payer) is all gone. He has forgiven you from EVERY sin. Now, my advice for you is that every morning as you open your eyes, you go to The Lord in prayer feeling free to call Him Father for He is!. Get a bible and read it. You may start with John which is a book that details to you His love story for you. Also, please feel free to contact us at the link so we can hear from you and pray with you.
